It's a good day to be an Ohioan

Today is the infamous Tuesday, make it or break it day, where I get to vote for the future of America. Or at least feel like I'm able to add my input, even if it's pointless. It's always nice being an Ohioan because for some reason, I feel my vote is more weighted than everyone else from the 49 other states. Then again there can always be a Diebold / ES&S machine issue or counting issue, but I think it's a bit early in the game for that.

Some other fun things that I would only expect someone from Ohio to know:
Ohio is nicknamed the Mother of the Presidents because seven of them were born there - Grant, Hayes, Garfield, Harrison, McKinley, Taft, and Harding. (They fail to note that more were born in Virginia.)

We were taught in grade school (at least mine) that no president has won the election without having Ohio on his side. I wasn't able to find this online and frankly I didn't want to go through each election to weigh the results to learn if this was true.

I do know that internationally it seems there are a lot of people for Hillary. I was requested to bring back a Hillary sign for Stefan's boss and I saw a lot of German Hillary supporters at Fasching. Perhaps that's a Munich thing though. Volker tells me it's not.

Today will be interesting!

Edit: I was reading this opinion article on the New York Times that I found to be very interesting - The $2 Trillion Nightmare

OU was on the news today because Fox is there, "keeping in touch with the youth vote." It was exciting to see OU on the news here in England!
