This past weekend Stefan participated in the 25th Munich Marathon. His parents came to visit and cheer him on, too, which was great. We were able to stop and see him at several points throughout the race. 
We're all so proud of him - what an incredible accomplishment!

Congratulations to Stefan! Was he able to walk up and down steps the next day? That's what I had problems with when I ran it in 1987.

It seemed many of the city's escalators weren't working that day either. He definitely complained about the stairs and his knees though. He also said the runner's high never came.
