When we were in New Zealand we visited the Zespri kiwi plantation.
It was an educational look at all things kiwi fruit, including a lot of sampling. I kind of get the feeling that all fruit producers claim to have the miracle fruit, but there are plenty of kiwi products that I never knew existed, including the gold kiwi.
It tastes slightly different than its green counterpart, but I had never seen them for sale outside of New Zealand. For the past couple weeks I've been seeing them more frequently around Munich, so I stocked up to give Stefan and myself a reminder of our trip. I love that foods can bring back so many memories.
