Ethnic Restaurants

It's been way too long since I've written about places in Munich. These are a few restaurants worth checking out if you live here or are passing through. They all have a great ambiance and unique, but delicious food.

Looks like I'll have to take Stefan out for a date night! It's difficult to decide if we should visit something new or a familiar favorite.

We absolutely LOVE Milagros and are happy to have great Mexican in the neighborhood.
Thanks for the recommendation on Pavesi Picnic - I'm looking forward to trying it!

Isn't it great? I don't know how I survived here before that, except for buying mass quantities of black beans and making it myself.

Hi Emily,

We'll be back in Munich at the end of this month, visting from Texas. So, really.. How is the food? I'm from California, living now in Texas. So you know we know what authentic Mexican food is. Is it worth a visit? Thanks!

Hi Carlos!

Many of the workers are from Mexico City, so they are making it as authentic as possible. I'd recommend checking it out if you crave some Mexican while you're here. They also have lunch specials, too. I'd say the food is a bit less greasy and cheese covered than in the US.

Enjoy your trip!

Emily,

Thanks for tip! We're definitely going to try it. My Mother-in-law, who has lived in Munich her whole life, loves Mexican food. It's probably the best thing she loves about visiting Texas. She has not heard of this place, so we're going to give it a shot.. Thanks again!

there's another more Chipotle-esque restaurant you guys might enjoy as well called Taco Libre (formerly Wa*haka) that's close to the Hauptbahnhof. Slowly we're making improvements on the Mexican food here.
